This topper shields your slide-out from leaves, twigs, and pooling rainwater that can lead to mildew or seal damage. It installs directly over the slide box and extends and retracts automatically with the room, so it’s always in place when you need it. With 187" of coverage and a 48" extension, it fits slide-outs measuring 182"–187" wide, giving you complete protection each time you set up camp.

The premium 13.5-oz vinyl fabric is made to handle constant sun, rain, and cold without cracking or fading. It’s cold-crack tested down to -25°F, so it stays flexible even in freezing conditions. The seams are heat-welded instead of stitched, sealing out water that could seep through during storms for long-term durability.

Everything you need comes in the box—brackets, hardware, and the awning rail—so setup is straightforward. The awning fabric arrives pre-mounted on the roller tube to save time. The rail can be mounted up to 5" above the trim on top of your slide box, and self-tapping screws make securing the access plate simple. Once installed, the topper moves with your slide so there’s nothing extra to manage at camp.
To get the right fit, measure from outer edge to outer edge of your slide trim. You’ll need at least 7" of clearance on each side—if space is tight, order the next size down for proper coverage. For dual slides side by side, keep a total of 14" between them for both toppers to operate smoothly.
The white awning fabric pairs with matching white hardware for a clean finish that blends well with most RV exteriors. It not only looks neat but also reflects sunlight to help keep interiors cooler on hot days.

It looks like you nailed it with the install! I'm in "aw"ning, haha. Do you have any install tips you learned when you put on the awning?

Glad you like it! And having more than one person is definitely a good idea. These things get pretty long and awkward. What did you install this on?

Product is functionally working great. Paint and wax were required to diminish visible scratches.

After a year of use, the slide topper awning still looks and works great. Youd never know it wasnt a factory install. So far, no signs the Arizona sun is deteriorating the fabric, although I try to treat it with 303 Protectant, and keep the trailer covered when not in use. Still very happy with my purchase.

I think you are selling yourself a little short, Michael. Install looks like it was done by the manufacturer! Great job! Any more trips planned for the year?

Couldnt be happier with slide out topper. Keeping waterdebri off slide out, protecting seal which was the goal. Not one issue with item, working great after 1 yr n probably for years to come.

Our slide-out awning is still functioning perfectly. Since I had loosened the tension a bit I was concerned about it maintaining good tension over time. No problem. Still perfect! There is no noted degradation of the canopy or hardware. Thanks!

I have been using my slide awnings for a year now without any issues. I dont have to worry about sticks and pine cones getting on top of my slide outs. It keeps me from having to climb on top of the RV. I highly recommend these to everyone I see.
